The experience in the Municipality of Aracataca will take you to know the place where our Nobel Prize in Literature Gabriel García Márquez was born. This beautiful municipality will transport you to Macondo, the imaginary and real world where the “Magic Realism” took place. From there we will leave for the Munkuawuinaka town (La Esperanza), within the Sierra Nevada, meeting with our indigenous Kogui community. Where you will take an environmental walk through some of the waterfalls, rivers, flora and fauna of the area.

TOUR DETAILS

After being picked up at the agreed place in Ciénaga, we will leave for the municipality of Aracataca. Approximate duration 1 hour of road trip. When he arrived in this town, the Nobel Prize for literature Gabriel García Márquez was inspired. We will visit the Gabriel García Márquez house museum. Where we will find the house where he was born, museum, works ending with a City tour.

We continue by road until we reach the Munkuawuinaka indigenous town. Approximate duration 2 hours of road trip. There we will have lunch typical dishes prepared by the Kogui community and rest.

At night we will have a talk with the indigenous community about their culture, traditions and customs; in addition to doing relaxation and meditation activities.

After breakfast we will take an environmental walk knowing the waterfalls and sources of rivers in the area, activities with the Kogui community in the town, we will have lunch and at the end we will start the descent to Aracataca and return to the starting point of the experience.
