The Shibldulda Foundation was born in 2016 as an initiative of a group of indigenous people from the Kogui community of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, with the idea of showing locals and foreigners the greatness of Mother Earth, as well as the fascinating way in which that this community has conserved and protected it for centuries of history. Shibldulda, more than a foundation, is a beacon of life that seeks for the sierra home of this indigenous community, to be respected and identified, as a natural and spiritual sanctuary as a gift from Aluna, the millennial mother of the Kogui.
