Our experience begins in Ciénaga, Magdalena where we will board a 4 × 4 camper that will take us to the wonderful town of Palmor, known as the Coffee Capital of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, this tour lasts approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

Already located in the township of Palmor – municipality of Ciénaga, Magdalena, we will be at an altitude of approximately 960 meters above sea level, where you will know each and every one of its tourist attractions and the coffee cultural environment, there we can enjoy traditional cuisine and the taste of organic coffee.

The adventure continues towards the CHERUA indigenous people belonging to the KOGUI indigenous community. On the way we will find the natural beauty of the rivers, trails, waterfalls; watching exotic flora and fauna, encounter with the Kogi culture and their ancestral culture (crafts, language, and natural medicine) in the village and sacred sites. The visit to the coffee and panelera farm will be part of the magic of this route.

TOUR DETAILS

Departure time 8:00 a.m.

On board a 4×4 camper vehicle that will take us to the wonderful village of Palmor known as the Coffee Capital of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. Here we will be at a height of approximately 960 meters above sea level, we will take a tour and have lunch, and then go to the CHERUA Indigenous People belonging to the KOGUI community.

In Cherua we will be received by a member of this indigenous community; where we will know natural magical places, as well as integration activities to learn about the ancestral Kogui culture (dance, music, and natural medicine).

Departure time 8:30 a.m.

After breakfast we will start a walk until we reach a coffee farm, passing through places with a variety of plants used by the community for medicinal purposes. Already on the farm we will carry out activities to learn about the entire process of Organic Coffee, from its history, sowing, production and harvesting.

After breakfast we will go to a farm to learn the entire production process of Organic Panela. And then to another farm to know the Apiary and all the activities that take place there.

At 3:00 pm. We will be back to the initial place of the experience.

Craft workshops: Cultural exchange with the Kogui indigenous community, we teach you how to make their crafts.
